About Me

A giant stone face at The Bayon temple in Angkor Thom, Cambodia

Bullfrog and belly in Colorado, 1973. Frog long gone: belly remained.

I live in Boston with a super-zest husband and three girls who are growing up waaay too fast. After three years of being a stay-at-home mom, I jumped back into my career in journalism and am now the Op-Ed art director at the Boston Globe. In my spare time (hah!) I do triathlons and compete in various little swims and runs, play a 12-string guitar (“play” is a word used loosely here), sing, and play My Little Pony Monopoly. Vegan. Still mostly gluten-free, after almost 20 years. Oh, and I have wicked panic attacks.

Here are some other pictures, posted mostly because I’m procrastinating doing something that actually really does need to be done:

RIP Ninja! My now-husband made me get rid of it. Worth it.

  • Love your drawings and your sense of humor – I just wandered around here for 20 minutes while I was supposed to be working – thanks for the great break!

  • Heather

Thank you! I usually draw them when I have a ton of work that needs to be done, so apparently it works as a great procrastinator for both of us!
